If you could roll back time and begin life again, what would you do differently? EMC is offering you an opportunity to have a brand new start with your health. If you are not happy with yourself right now, hope is on its way! At EMC Health & Wellness you can join our NEW You for the New Year group and learn how to live a healthier life through nutrition, exercise and overall wellness with all the tools necessary, even support and encouragement!

EMC is proud to announce a new support group offered to the general public, any Health and Wellness Center member and EMC employees. EMC will begin “A N.E.W. You” in January. The purpose of this group is to help its members with Nutrition, Exercise and Wellness in their life. Anyone is welcome to join and there is NO fee. Classes will be held at the Wellness Center at Court Street, Evergreen, but you do not need to be a member to join this group. [more]

Education is an essential part of maintaining a healthy body and managing diseases. For anyone who has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, congestive heart failure, cancer, or other diseases, the Education Department at EMC is a great resource! From one-on-one education to group support, the Education Department can meet your learning needs. On our Health Education site you can view in-depth information about Congestive Heart Failure (CHF); a great Resource Link page that will connect you with almost any kind of health information you might have a question about; and in the last section you will find our EMC Education Calendar for the development of our staff both personally and professionally.

The American Cancer Society and EMC have also teamed up to provide a Cancer Closet to cancer survivors and those fighting cancer in our area. Inside you will find such items as wigs and prosthetics.
