New Cancer Support Group for Our Area

With the New Year come new beginnings. This certainly holds true for cancer patients and their families in our area. Cancer affects almost everyone either directly or indirectly. In recognition of this along with community interest, Evergreen Medical Center has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to begin a Cancer Support Group based in Evergreen that will serve Conecuh County and surrounding areas.

The first organizational meeting will be held on Monday, January 16, at 6:00pm at EMC Health and Wellness. Anyone who is battling cancer is urged to come and share ideas to help make this support group a benefit and a success. Family members are also welcome as they provide support for those suffering from cancer like no one else can.
