EMC has opened a Rural Health Clinic adjacent to the hospital in order to expand the availability of primary care services in Conecuh County. The clinic is staffed by a nurse practitioner, Candace Cassady, CRNP and is supervised by Dr. Bill Farmer. If you or your family does not have a primary care provider and need some basic health care needs, feel free to make an appointment with Candace by calling 578-0278. The clinic accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross and most other insurance carriers that are offered in our area. The clinic will be open Monday – Thursday (8:30am – 4:30pm).

EMC now employs 2 Nurse Practitioners, Nicole Laird, CRNP who works under the medical supervision of Dr. Mark Roberts, and now Candace. Both of these providers offer health care for your primary care needs. Our area now has 3 excellent Nurse Practitioners offering primary care in our area; Nancy Anderson, CRNP, works in the Barnes/West Clinic.
